We are looking for a professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel. Our positions are located at interim housing sites so you will be working with the client population, specific to a particular site. You will maintain a high visibility presence with primary focus on searching clients and deescalating situations.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing a variety of de-escalation techniques, work to achieve a calm and secure environment for clients

• Search clients upon returning to the site or as required by management

• Search bedrooms as requested by management

• Complete rounds randomly or regularly, both of the buildings and perimeter

• Complete reports thoroughly and accurately

• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates

• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

• Perform First Aid or CPR, as needed

Skills

• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position

• Previous experience searching people

• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment

• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

• Surveillance skills and detail orientation

• Integrity and professionalism

• High school degree

Upon hire, you will need to have:

• Current guard card

• Current CPR card

• Physical done in the last year

• TB test done in the last year
